I'm playing commercial DVD videos on a 5-year old Sony CD/DVD Player Model DVP-NC665P. Recently we've noticed that when playing a DVD, the music portion of the soundtrack greatly exceeds the voice portion such that if we turn up the sound enough to hear the voice, the music (when present) almost drowns it out.
This DVD player is connected directly to a stereo TV with no amplifier or receiver in between.
I've tried changing most of the settings available on the player's setup screens, but the problem continues. Any suggestions?
Sam
