hi.
first of all english is not my language so excuse me for any wrong in grammar or words.
here is my problem.
I have for ex 1 movie divided in three svcd files. I place the files in correct 1order in a folder. chose the folder in svcddvd, but when I push start the program changes the order of the files.
ex in the folder
svcd1a
svcd1b
svcd1c
but the program changes to
1b
1a
1c
the same problem occur when I have different movies in 4 svcd files. svcd2dvd mixes the two movies even though they are in the correct order from the start
I hope this made any sence to you and look forward to any solution

Hi, Drutten!
(If it is D. Rutten, you might be Belgian. Or Dutch, like me..
You should have a good look at my extensive description of how to get everything right, and in the right order, at:
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=194602
Especially the Steps 1, 3, 8 and 9.
The Filing System writes the files onto disk in the sequence in which the user puts them there, which is not necessarily the sequence the user sees in, for instance, the Windows Explorer. There they are sorted by name. Or Extension, Size, Type, Date, Time, Attribute, whatever the user wishes.
Programs, like SVCD2DVD and others, however, do not access the Windows Explorer for their file information, but the Filing System, which provides them with the original, "historical" sequence. SVCD2DVD then uses this info UNLESS it gets later instructions from the user under the Author Tab.
That is why I advise people to make a NEW Folder (with a simple name) and move the files to it IN SEQUENCE from their original location(s).
Should anything still go wrong, then follow Step 8 to correct it.
