Can my beloved Nero 5 work with Pioneer A07 or NEC 2500A ??

Hi all,

I have a Pioneer A04 and the last version of Nero 5. I believe it is 5.....54. Things couldn't be any better. I love Nero 5. I also have Record Now DX and Decryptor. But I prefer Nero 5.

I'm very tempted to buy one of the new 8x burners, either Pioneer A07, or Nec 2500A. I'm wondering whether Nero 5 would be able to burn on these drives? Or would I have to upgrade to Nero 6? I rather not upgrade. Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to upgrade to the latest Nero 5 and have that version recognize the drives.

I already have the latest revision. The question is at the time the latest revision was released, none of these 8x burners were out. Do you think it will recognise the new drive that came to the market just a few days ago?

Ofcourse yes, if it doesn't recognise download the latest update for your Nero version. Also Pioneer A07 might come with Nero Express 5.5(or may be ver.6). My A06 came with Nero Express 5.5. If you want to confirm than check the Pioneer website and they would mention about the included software.
