    How can i play DVD-R/W or DIVX on my DVD-player LG 5253
    I can play CD, CD-R/W, DVD and MP3... but can't play DVD-R... How can i turn it to play all formats of video/audio?
    If i hack my DVD-player to SVCD... Can i play DVD-R...? Or i only can see films/videos on MP3?...
    I WANT TO SEE FILMS WITHOUT BUY ORIGINALS !!!...

    Not all players can read all disc formats, and there is no way to change it unless the drive can be swapped with a PC IDE drive.
    I have a Cyberhome 505 that plays all formats, and a Panasonic that will not play DVD+R/W (or VCD on any media), but is OK with DVD-R/W, and a Yukai that will not play +R, but plays everything else including +RW!
