i know one answer is to use a.pack -- but i have a problem with that. since sizzle limits your music to 30 secs, i make "shortened" 30 second .aifs which are saved self-contained in qt from 30 seconds of my choosing from a longer song.
the problem? a.pack won't accept my "shortened" .aifs for encoding.
so i encoded them into .mp2 using bv helper, which is fine, except that they are loud as hell in playback.
is there a way to normalize my .mp2s? is there a way to massage my "shortened" .aifs into a.pack? anyone else faced and solve this quandary already?
tia. brett.
