ok i have the american wedding dvd that i want to back up and im trying to use dvdshrink
i open disc and set it up then click backup it gets 1/2 way done then i get a program error i belive unallocated program error or somthing i tried this with 2 versions
could it be a dvd read error?? or what?

ok i got the error at 51%
dvd shrink encounterd an error and cannot continue
programming error - exemption occured
the handle is invalid -
When I backed up Teminator 3 I got an error. I don't remember the exact wording. I cleaned the DVD and that solved the problem.

Are you reading from your burner, or your DVD ROM? I looked at your PC profile, but can't tell exactly what you have.

from my dvd rom its a plextor px 116a
my dvd burner is a liteon and doesnt allow me to copy off the disc as good
i cleaned the disc and still at 51% i get the same error
is there a different proggy to use that is easy?? maybe -
DVD shrink is very easy but you may have run into a bug. Here are a some things to try:
1) DVD Shrink 2.3 - Each version of DVD shrink has it's own idioscyncrosies. Whatever version you are having trouble with, try an earlier one.
2) DVD Decrypter - Some people say it is a better at ripping than DVD Shrink
(Are you having trouble with one particular DVD or all DVD's? If you can rip most DVD's but are having trouble with this one then try the above. If you can't rip any DVD's maybe you have a problem with your DVD drive.
