    a little annoying thing about internet explorer is when i open it, it never opens maximized. i can resize the window to be pretty big, and it will open that size, but its still not maximized. how can i make it maximized everytime i open it automatically? i remember seeing this somewhere but i couldnt find it

    Right click on its icon and choose Properties. Near the bottom there is a Run drop down menu, choose Maximized.

    thanks, that was it. i forgot i had to make a shortcut to it to make it maximized

    Or......

    Open IE
    Click the maximize button in the top right corner
    Hold CTRL
    Click File
    Select Close

    Open IE again and it's fixed
