    I am having trouble using tmpgenc for joining mpegs recorded from powervcrII30 (keeps locking up while making file), so i am wondering what software might be the best for doing this. I have a 4 part mpeg-2 recording that i want to merge into one... i am running a P4 1.5ghz with 256mb rdram. thanks for any help...

    I'm having problem too with TMPGenc. When I join mpg1(VCD) clip music files (file 1.mpg + file 1_01.mpg) I heard noise sound (I tested all versions of TMPEnc).
    Is there a software that makes perfect join mpg1 or mpg2 files?
