Sorry to be bothering everone with a lame question, but I've been scouring the forum for an answer and I have not yet found one...
The wife just bought me a new JVC XV-S42SL which lists itself as CDR/CDRW/VCD/DVD etc etc compatible.
So, off I went to convert one of my .avi movies over and create my first VCD using Nero.
The burn process went great. The movie played with PowerDVD without any issues. However, when I attempt to play the burnt flick in the player I get a very choppy picture but the audio is good.
I've tried a variety of different media from CDR's (Memorex Black, Sony) and I also tried burning it onto a CDRW. Still choppy.
I would really appreciate a couple of pointers to try and get this thing up and running. I'm unsure of what the best bitrate is for the JVC.
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks
