  1. I'm after a standalone DVD player.
I would like it to be very small though, or at least be very slim.

    Any recommendations?

    (I'm in the UK)

    Thanks.

  3. Thanks, that does seem good.
    Can it be made multi-region?

I'll get my tape meausre out and see how it looks.
I'll check the specs on here as well, and see if it does VCD/SVCD as that would be a bonus.

Does anyone know of one with a smaller footprint?
But ot be honest I think slim may be better for me than small.

  4. Hmm, still a little tall for me I think.
My current player is 70mm (2.7"), and that one is about 55mm (2.2")

Can you get any under 50mm (2") ?

    Heres one at 44mm (1.7")

I really don't buy based on size, you should head over to electronics store and see which ones fit your needs (and then buy over internet)

    Hi Floob,

As you're in the UK, I know that WHSmith are selling a DVD player that's quite small and multi-regional. I don't know if my idea of "small" is the same as yours, but can't hurt to check it out.

    Pretty cheap too, I believe.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
