  1. A suggestion for this site (and I can sorta see why this may not be a good idea) would be a section for blank media good/bad experience. There have a been a few (and the only reason I am pointing the link above out is because I was too lazy to look for earlier ones) posts for people bashing (or praising) a particular company.

I was thinking maybe sorts on online/brickandmortar, US/UK/Canada/ etc. A rating scale or simply a OK/Great/Sucked check option.

OH, OH. NOw you're gonna bash my store. I'm telling you, every one will want a blow up tgpo doll. Don't complain about it and bash me, they will be off of back ourder soon. :P

  3. I chose the fourth option in the poll, as a way of atoning for previous criticisms of The Great Pat-O. But getting the blow-up doll is out of the question. :P

  5. I think a section on dvdrhelp.com would be appropriate.

After all, you're more likely to get an opinion from someone who has some clue as to what they're talking about. And you probably won't have to worry about employees from the retailer logging in to inflate their ratings and/or brag about their exceptional service and pricing.

And by the way, since we're talking about media and polls. I see you have the obligatory tgpo option, but where's the Gurm option?

  6. didnt know that gurm was worthy of his own poll option. Any recommendations?

As a follow up on the comment about going to a website to voice concerns. Yes, that is something else that could be done, however, lets be real for a second. A number of folks are too lazy to hit the search button (sometimes myself included). What is the liklihood they would go to a whole other site. I think that overall this would be the appropriate place to put a section for this.

I have to say no. I already have too much stuff to keep together and up to date.

  8. Well, Sorry it has to be a no. The reason I was sorta thinking it may be a bad idea (aside from additional labor) would be the possibility that it could open you/this forum up to a lawsuit if a media company decided to do something about a bad comment or something. Unlikely, but always a possibility.

Not a big PHP guy, but if its coding that you need or other assitance, I would be interested in helping out (regardless of if you decide to make a good/bad media section). Please let me know (or PM me) if I can help out in some way (aside from making stupid polls .

Then how about a section for good media/company praise?
