Does anyone know what kinde of CD-R is good for VCD

I have Sony DVP-S300 dvd player and I tried to play a vcd
on it but it did not work. It can read time and how many tracks but did not read movie itself.
Is there kinde of spesial brand of CD-R for this type of player. And VCD is working very good on my computer but not on DVD player. If someone can help, Please Help!

well according to the compatibility list on the left, your player doesn't read cdr's, but according to what some have posted about the player there is some cdr media that works with it, like imation, tdk, and a few others. just click dvd players on the left, type in your sony dvp-s300 and then click the read link at the end of the listing.
