problems using Aviscript with TMpeg

Hello ok i got some avi's but there is an annoying green line at the bottom of some now i want to mask it.
i tried using aviscript it masked it but when i put it through tmpeg the preview screen kept going backwards and forewards, they convert fine without using aviscript but dont work when i use it.
is there anyother programes that can mask my avi's?? or what am i doing wrong

Have you tried using ADVANCED SETTINGS/OTHER SETTINGS/CLIP FRAME in TMPGEnc prior to encoding?

This should allow you to crop or mask the green line you refer to. I typically use 4 from top and 4 from bottom to clip out VHS headswitching noise.
