Pardon my ignorance, but is there a way to cut a scene or long part out the "main movie"? For example, if I wanted to cut out a scary or sexually explicit part out of a movie to make it a little more kid friendly. Also, could the scene be replaced by a different scene (maybe from different movie). I'm not looking to keep the menus (I trying one thing at the time). I'm using DVD Decrypter 3.1.7, and the new DVDShrink 3.1 (by the way I like the new look of it). Thank you for any help

  2. Yes, DVDShrink can do it using its Start/End function. Here's how:

Suppose you have a show and you want to get rid of commercials (in your case, scary or sexually explicit part).

    Title 1: A-x-B-y-C-z-D

(Capital letters correspond to the part of the show you want to keep and lowercase letters correspond to commercials.)

    I. Use the Start/End function to remove the unwanted part. Since you can only specify the beginning and end, you have to remove everything that follows the 1st commercial:

Title 1: A (set End just before x)

II. Open another DVDShrink windows and drag the same title to the first DVDShrink window, like this:

    Title 1: A
    Title 1: A-x-B-y-C-z-D

III. Use the Start/End function to remove the unwanted parts of the second Title 1:

    Title 1: A
Title 1: B (set Start just after x; set End just before y)

IV. Repeat steps II and III until you have removed all unwanted parts. In my example, I would get something like this:

    Title 1: A
    Title 1: B
Title 1: C (set Start just after y; set End just before z)
Title 1: D (set Start just after z)

    V. Hit Backup! and you're done.

    Hope that makes sense

Thank you for the reply. Mojo posted a similar one, and I i got the answers from his post. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to create a Menu with DVD-Lab 1.3 (still or motion, it doesn't matter), and a chapters menu where I can click on the little image and go directly to that chapter. Any sugestions on that? Thank you.
