Trying to delete sections of a movie with VirtualDub

I downloaded the xvid scene release of a film called "Love Actually". I want to delete sections of the movie where there is nudity for family viewing. I have Koepi's xvid installed and opened the first avi in VirtualDub. I just can't seem to delete what I want though. Seeking for keyframes is all over the place. I haven't used VirtualDub in years but have been tearing my hair out tonight. I thought it might be the VBR audio so downloaded VirtualDub freeze but had the same problem.

If I find the keyframe at the start of the section I want to cut out it'll be back after I hit delete. Seeking seems to cause sections of the movie to repeat all over the place. I just can't describe it...it's like it has a mind of it's own.

Please please what am I doing wrong!
