I'm about out of my gourd!

Has anyone had problems using the new Iomega Super drive with GQ 1x media (LD01) to burn DVD movie backups?

I've used this media to burn DVD-ROM fine using Roxio. No coasters!
I couldn't figure out how to do a DVD video in Roxio so tried Nero.
Nero works fine on the Verbatim DVD+RW (MMC A01) at 2.4x
Whenver I try the GQ 1x media, Nero hangs up. I have to reboot to kill it.
