I have lots of Divx 3 files i want to put to divx 5 or xvid (have a liteon 2002 now) and was wondering what the best way of doing this is. I have Dr.Divx but for some reason the audio seems out of sync on some of the movies. Is there a way to get the audio in sync or is there a better program to use. I dont want to make SVCD or anything. Just burning .avi as data disc.
Thanks

Why do you want to do that? You'll just further degrade the quality.
The audio sync issues is probably because they used VBR MP3 audio.
You'll need to mux the audio and video with a program which can handle VBR MP3 audio streams in AVI files correctly such as VirtualDubMod.

Would synch mostly occur on DVD to DivX, or XviD to DivX?
