Problem with Ritek Printable x4 DVD+Rs on NEC 1100A

Just taken delivery of 75 Ritek Printable x4 DVD+Rs. Have tried 12 of them so far on my NEC 1100A and none work. DVDinfo reports 'drive not ready'. Other makes of disc, eg Ricoh, continue to work fine.

I presume somebody out there has successfully used this combination?

If I have been sent -Rs by mistake, what would DVDinfo report? Any other way of checking what the discs actually are (they came shrink wrapped with no identifying marks)?

Dont see your drive listed so it could be they arnt compatable...
