    I'm using Pinnacle studio 8.10.4 and it claims that there is no writer drive. I have an NEC 1300A. Easy CD & DVD 6 recognises and uses the drive fine. Any idea how to get Pinnacle to recognise it?

    There are several people there that can offer advice.
    If all else fails, you can always use Studio 8 to create a disc image, then use another application to burn it.

    I would sugest burning with different software.
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
