hi i'm hopin someone can help me.just switched from dail-up to wireless cable network.2 computers work fine. the other works 80% of time on aol( hevin trouble with secured sites) & ms explorer will not even connect
the error message reads as follows cannot display page.i have windowsxp
all updated. called everyone to get it fixed but the companys weren't any help or wouldn't help.the wireless signal is strong. i believe it is either a software conflict or most likely a setting issue but i cannot find to much info on it.i was already @ ms site. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you provide more information on your setup. Operating systems on each, type / brand wireless cards. Does your cable modem go into a wireless router or a wired router hooked to access points. When you say it works 80% of the time do you mean everything works (you can get to all the sites).
I'm at a loss right now but I too believe it's a setting somewhere, perhaps wep related, MAC address problem (if you're using MAC address validation). -

Just a thought, but what works for me is cycling the power on my modem and router. Just a thought but it has worked for me in the past when i have problems with my connection.
