Roxio's news release announcing the upcoming Jam 6 says it supports creating 2-channel Dolby Digital soundtracks for DVDs. How is this different from the mpeg audio I'm now getting with PixeDV and CaptyDVD?
Also, they say I'll be able to record music DVDs playable on my DVD player. Anyone know what format the audio is in? If I start preparing tracks for this purpose should I keep them as aif or encode them to mp3 or aac or...?

I've only heard of bootlegers doing this so that they can have the best quality shows on 1 disc instead of 5.

Oh and they burn it as a wav/shn/flac/ape/aiff or whatever kind of lossless uncompressed file.
