What Brands of DVD +R media are manufactured by Ricoh?

I have a Plex 708. Just visited Plex website to check compatible media. Plex states that 4X media produced by Ricoh will write at 8X. Would someone more knowledgeable than me please list the brand names of media produced by Ricoh. I know there are several but just don't know who they are. I would really appreciate the info. Thank you very much for helping this newbie out.

I got some Memorex DVD+Rs 4X and the media code was RICOHJPNR01.

IMATION DVD+R 4 SPEED are RICOH that burn at 8x with Plextor 708A. The latest firmware for Plextor 708A supposedly adds more compatibility with other brands of media. Be careful of MEMOREX DVD+R because some of them are made by CMC. Perhaps with the latest firmware the CMC media would be compatibile. I had purchased some MEMOREX and burned a coaster so I returned it. It was made by CMC. Got me IMATIONS for same price $52.00 for Two 25 packs.

im sure that this question has been asked before, but how can i make sure that these disks are richojpnr014x & aren't manufactured by CMC. is that info. listed on the outside of the box? i plan on swinging by compusa after work for an emergency pk of memorex dvd+r's to hold me over.

I know if you buy a 30 pack of Verbatium 4x +R and it has a grey bottom hub its Ricoh. And Fuji as well. Both from recent purchases.

4x on the package but I average 6.8x in my BenQ.

That's Write 4x DVD+R Gold (RICOHJPNR01)
Memorex 4x DVD+R (RICOHJPNR01)
Imation 4x DVD+R ( RICOHJPNR01)

Out of those only Memorex gets recognized
on my dvd player. Bit strange, considering
the same burner used, software and no errors
in scan or problems with pc playback. Definitely
doing my best to avoid this media code unless
I buy a new dvd player.
