  1. Google searched, no info came up.

PowerDVD autoplays regular DVD's, but drive does not recognize backups (have to manually open PowerDvd and hit play)

Burned using Stomp's RecordNow Max, using Data mode, recognizes the VIDEO_TS format (checked in options)

Backup plays fine in standalone and when manually opening PowerDVD, any way to get it to play automatically in the DVD-rom?
(double clicking on the drive icon just explores to VIDEO_TS folder)

PowerDVD sucks. Frankly, I dunno how they stay in business.

I, and many others have trashed it for other, easier to navigate and use viewing programs like WinDVD. The UI is SO much simpler than with PowerDVD. Try WinDVD. You'll uninstall PowerDVD about 5 minutes later.

Your autoplay setting could have gotten change in the registry because of PowerDVD. Try to uninstall or go on google and type something like: 'Enable autoplay registry' and see if that helps. If that doesnt work, get WinDVD, I used to have the PowerDVD struggles till I saw the WinDVD light.
