I haven't had anyproblems with TMPGen in the past until now. The problem is, when I am trying to convert Xvid to MPEG2 to create a DVD it converts the video brilliantly....but no bloody sound. I have changed codecs, but alas, still no joy. Does anyone have any ideas?. All will be considered!
Thanks in advance

XviD is a video codec, so any audio problems you experience is quite unrelated to the AVI containing XviD video. Use GSpot to find out what codec's used for audio. I'm willing to bet a cent or 2 on that it's AC3, which TMPGEnc can't read. Extract audio track direct stream with VirtualDub, convert to WAV with Headac3he and use this wav as audio source when encoding.
