The (unlabeled) disc that came with LiteOn LVW-5001, read fine on my 2 Macintosh computers even before being finalized. Have not been able to repeat success on any other stock (TDK 4X and Liquid Video 2.4x). All disks read on Samsung DVD-VCR & RCA portable player, but am looking for stock which will play on G4 PowerBook, particularly. Any ideas? Liteon unable to provide definite info on CD which shipped with burner.![]()

to identify the mystery disk you might try DVDIdentifier 3.1+
click on "DVD Media" in the l/h listing on this page and look for a link to the freeware app up towards the top of that page.
also might check DVDplusRW.org website - they might have some info on the g4..
