    I have burnt 2 DVD's ... one from a commercial release (using Clone DVD and Shrink) and one a straight copy from a copy from a friend. Both of my burnt copies play on my standalone player, but won't play on my PC

    What am I doing wrong Or is there a setting I need to make sure is 'ON'

    Any help appreciated.

    @RCB

    PowerDVD. But it says no disk in drive. Doesn't see it at all .... having just burnt it.

    The weird one was the copy of a copy because I didn't change anything (didn't use Shrink). The only thing I noticed as that on the original DVD the TS-IFO files had a PowerDVD logo on them. So I changed my copied DVD files to match. Still didn't work.

    I found that I couldn't play my DVD file off the HDD until I changed the TS-IFO file there as well ....then it played on Power DVD.

    I appreciate your advice/ideas.

    What format is the DVD you burned? +R or -R? Some DVD-ROM drives, especially the older ones, cannot recognize +R disks.

    -R. Discs play fine on standalone.
