  1. I have been trying to compress Pirates of the caribbean with dvd2onex and I keep on getting "not enough space on disk message" when I try to burn it. Please help.

What I did was target my DVDTOX , using the USER DEFINED
option to 4200. Also use VARIABLE for QUALITY.
    This was a DISC COPY.

When It got done generating I had a VIDEO_TS folder
at 4223MB, and it burnded perfectly in TOAST.

4200 seems a bit low to go

what did was the Size set to? Default is 4472 and thats often TOO BIG for most dvdrs

Setting it to userdefined and a value of 4444 usually allows them to fit

if for some strange reason thats still to big, id go 4400 (thats the lowest I have ever had to run it so they fit onto a dvdr brand i had (which i dont use anymore!)

    Galactica,
I usually keep my USER DEFINED settings at 4300
(4400 still causes not enough space errors with
    Apple Branded and Samsung/beAll media),
but on the Pirates rip ( see "Trouble with Disney")
it wouldn't go unless I dropped to 4200, and even then
I found out later the DVDTOX VIDEO_TS was a bit above that.

overall, quality is good so I can't complain.

I learned if you burn Apple's 2x DVD-Rs at 1x then DVD2OneX's default of 4472 will burn without error.

  6. I went down as low as 4300 and lost audio, is this a common problem with disney dvd's?
