  1. I downloaded RAR files from A.B.SVCD. I decoded the files using IZARC. I ended up with a BIN and a CUE file. I then burnt these to disc using the Disc Copier program on Roxio Easy CD/DVD 6. I selected the image file option and burnt it a 4x on a TDK 440N. The resulting SVCDs are playable on both drives on my PC, but do not play on the Apex. I imagine that it must have something to do with the way Roxio processes the files. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I tried a different brand of CD as well as several machines at Best Buy. All with no success.

    Thanks,

  2. I am not familiar with using the roxio program for burning svcd style bin files. As long as the cue and bin were compiled as a svcd then really any program should be able to burn it. I always use CDR-WIN to burn those files and VCDEASY to burn mpg files. I would get one of the freeware burning tools off this site and try again. I never was a fan of easycd and the roxio plugins. The image could have been burnt as a raw cd or in the wrong mode, that's why it's better to use a program that specializes in video cd's.

I was gonna mention using the vcd header trick but if you tried the disc in other players then that isn't your problem.

  3. Thanks for the reply.

I downloaded VCDEasy 1.1.4 which is supposedly the last freeware version. Before I install it, I would like to know if it burns BIN and CUE files or do I have to use CDR-WIN for that?

    Thanks again,
