    I have MagicSpin 8x burner. I used DVD Shrink 3.0.5 beta last week (for first time) & it worked like a charm.

    I downloaded 3.1.2 and when I "Load Disk" the program hangs. Locks up the drive etc. Restart is my only option.

    Any similar experiences and any SOLUTION??

    I did load some programs the last few days, I am not sure what system changes were made - DirectX etc.

    Using Win2K. Decrypter, DVD2ONE and others work fine. Would like to effectively use DVD Shrink - it seemed very good.

    I would go back to the DVDShrink 3.0 Beta 5 if it worked for you. Not too much difference in the update. Especially if the new one hangs.
