  1. I'm trying to join 39 .VOB's. I'm useing the "join VOB trailers" guide form this web site. When I select "join files","save as","firse VOB 1" nothing happens. I've tried to reduce the number of files but with no change. Is there a setting that is presumed to be already set? I'm no pro so please don't take for granted that I've set everythinf correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. I don't know how to do this with VobEdit (you may be able to), but you could try VOBMerge.

I don't know why it works but I have found that I have had to rename my source files to "VTS_01_001.VOB, VTS_01_002.VOB..." to get the joining to work properly. I open the first VOB and then go to edit > Join Clips. Works every time.
    If in doubt, Google it.

that's the format VOBEDIT requires for the join clip to work. If the guides don't tell you that you should look for a new guide.

  5. Once again I must have been too tired when I was trying it. I changed the files to VTS_01_1.vob, VTS_01_2.vob. I left out a couple of zeros. Thanks guys for the help and thank you Turtle49 for VOBMerge.

My guide tells me that - I simply meant that I don't know why VOBEdit was created this way - obviously caters for up to 999 VOB files !
    If in doubt, Google it.
