What's the easiest way to copy a video from a +R disk to a -R disk? Can I just do a straightforward disk-copy or will it have to be converted somehow?

I tried it with DVDDecrypter in ISO mode....didn't work. The only way I can do it on my PC with my LG burner is to use my B's Recorder Gold that came with the drive. I just copy "on the fly" and it works....for some strange reason when it wont in DVDDecrypter.

Is that just a straightforward diskcopy or is it doing any processing of the data?

Put one disc in your reader.

Put a blank in your writer.

Hit "copy" in your program of choice.

If this doesn't work, there is something drastically wrong with your computer.

  5. THe macrovision is already removed from the +R, copy on the fly drive to drive or simply copy the files off the disc into a folder and burn. DvdDecrypter may not support your drive for ISO mode, theirs no need to use if anyway, you can make an image in NERO or RecordNow Max and burn it if you do not have 2 drives.

All I know is....the ONLY error message I ever received with DVDDecrypter was when I used ISO Read Mode from a +R disk then tried ISO Write Mode to a -R disc. Didn't work. Maybe it was a fluke or a bad -R disc....not sure.
