I just bought my wife a Cyberhome CH-DVD 320 Player for Christmas; 'cause it was on sale at Target for $46.00.. But I've looked at the DVD Player Compatability list here, this specific DVD Player is NOT reviewed...can anyone tell me about this particular DVD Player ? Can this item play anything that ya throw at it ?
Since I bought it for Christmas, I really can't take it out of the box to test it...she has a lot of tv shows in SVCD format.. American Idol, don'cha knowI'd simply like to know if this machine can play 'em.
Thanks !![]()

I suggest you take it back, and then go to Walmart and get the Cyberhome 300 (normal price of $43) and it DOES play everything I've ever put in... DVD-MP3, VCD, SVCD, XVCD, XSVCD, CVD, MPEG-ISO-CD, MPEG-ISO-DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-ROM (Video), etc....
The best part is the region info can be set to REGION 0 (free) in the menu! And it does PAL or NTSC output or input with conversion.
And I've seen them in at least 5 Walmarts in DFW, so I know they're around you.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

See if you can get the Cyberhome 400. It's about 9" square / 2" high and does play anything - even raw MPEG files on a CD-ROM. Selling in the UK at £50 - don't know what it would go for anywhere else in the world.

Thanks for all the advice
- I was told by the guy at Target that I have 90 days to bring it back it it didn't work out for me....
But..I'm thinkin'.. this is a Cyberhome 320...LordSmurf says that the Cyberhome 300 plays everything.. then the second guy says that the Cyberhome 400 is a great machine as well....I SUSPECT that the Cyberhome 320 is pretty much the same machine as the others..but in different packageing..this one is really compact...almost like a thick book..just right to fit on the shelf below my wife's tv.
So, I'm thinkin' that perhaps it's best to wait till Christmas Morning..then when my wife tries the player out...we'll see then if it really does play all these formats, specifically the XSvcd's that I've made from the downloaded Divx's of her tv shows..ya know.. American Idol and all that
Apparently no one has had any experience with the Cyberhome 320...so.. that's alright...I'll be patient and wait till my wife opens the box on Christmas Morning..I suspect that she'll be delighted with it...
Thanks again, ya'll! 8) -
Well ??? Did it play all of your stuff. I'm looking at the 320 (as I cannot find the 300's).
