Wonder if someone can help with a question on this proggy. Whenever I backup one of my personal movies I always use this program to check the backup copy for read errors. I do this with both my Pioneer 105 DVD Rom and then my Plex 708 (just to be sure). Sometimes (it has happend probably 6 or 8 times) when I check the backup with the Pioneer it will give me read errors but then when I check the backup with the Plex it gives 0 errors. Why would the Pioneer show errors and the Plex does not on the same backup disc? Like I said this has happend on several differenct backups but yet most of the time the Pioneer will show no read errors with most discs I backup. Is there possibly something wrong with my Pioneer or does it just have more trouble reading a disc for errors than the Plex? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The plex is a better reader than the Pioneer over bad sectors. This is a common problem (not really a problem) but I come across it often, for instance when I buy new media (CDR) i test it to see how good the quality is, so I burn it @ max speed in my LG8525b writer and check (scan disc) in Nero CD Speed for errors.
    Often i get this:
    Pass 100% in writer
Pass 100% in LG GDR 8161b DVD rom
Read errors in my Toshiba 1612 DVD rom
so basically if you want to get 100% quality burns/reads on all your devices, burn slower or use better media.
