Hi, I hope this is the right forum. I am trying to fit more than 4.7 Gb of home video on one DVD disk. I have authored the captured video ( I have tried both Studio ( and Showbiz 2) and then saved project as a MPEG2 file. Following the file is made into a DVD file using TMPGEnc, as this program allows larger files than 4,7 Gb. The file seems to be OK, and can be played at PowerDVD without any problem. Finally I try to shrink the file to normal DVD size, using DVD shrink, but regardless how I try, I get a decrypt error, even though the video is not Encrypted. Is there any solution to this ?? I am a very frustrated man because of this, so I need help please.
Thank you, and A Happy New Year to all.

Or roll back to another version of DVD Shrink that does not rip.
Or better yet, have it open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file in DVDShrink Beta3R5. It should not try to rip at all.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

flbs, DVD Author actually "flags" the files it generates as protected (even though they're not).
Run them through DVD Decrypter for confirmation.
Workarounds:
Use DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink v2.3 ("No Compression") to process the files first, then v3.0b5 will be able to read them. -
Hi, I just want to thank you for the responce. Using DVDschrink ver. 2,3 did the trick.

You're welcome, flbs, I'm glad to hear it worked.
