I have XP home (all updated) and an All in Wonder Pro, Rage Pro Turbo AGP 2X with ATI Bt828 capture. When I select that capture device in my XP applications such as Pinnacle Studio and Windows Movie Maker, the applications freeze solid. They capture fine when using my DV camera. The TV Tuner and other ATI applications work fine. I have the latest video driver and Multimedia Center for my card. I've tried reinstalling all affected applications and drivers without success. Does anyone have any similar problems or ideas to correct this? Is it correctable considering it's an older card? Should I even care since I can import via my DV camcorder? (I just like everything to work!)
I'm trying to avoid buying a new video card for now since all other features work just fine for me.
Thanks,
Russ

I don't know that your card is supported by modern MMC versions. Maybe MMC 8.8, but don't take my word for it. Test. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. The ATI site brings me to MMC 7.2 as the most current version for my card, the basic All in Wonder Pro. I would like to try installing MMC 8.8 and see what happens, but I'm nervous that it'll screw something up that I won't be able to reverse. Does anyone have any info as to that card working with MMC 8.8?
Thanks,
Russ
