DW-U10A Help ! ! I have been stupid, very stupid.

Hi, I need some help,

Ive tried to flash my Sony DW-U10A_to_DRU-500A and it has'nt worked, I desperatly need some help how to get it working again since now it doesn't show as a Sony dvdr drive at all and doesn't work, Can someone please offer some advice or links as to how to reflash this drive so it works again.

You should be able to flash it back to a dwu-10a easily.
Alot of firmware for your drive here...use the links in english in the yellow..

Why were you stupid enough to flash your drive with the wrong firmware?? Did you think you could change a 4x to an 8x ??

Another thing is why did you flash it for? I mean I purchased a 500ax and I NEVER flashed it and it works flawlessly and it burns 2x and 4x with no trouble at all...

Because I thought it would enable me to use a broader range of Cheaper discs!
Anyway Thanks to ramair23 its working fine now as a 500a drive with 320 g firmware.
