    I have a movie an avi with a sub and an idx file. I have a liteon lvd-2001 divx player and do not want to put in the beta firmware to play the subtitles. I have the sub station alpha filter for virtual dub. What is the simplest way to make an avi with the subtitles. From the guides here I think I could convert the .sub to a .srt and then the .srt to a .ssa and finally use virtualdub to combine. Is there a better way?
