For some reason my Pioneer A05 hates SP1 and refuses to read blank DVD-R's and if I'm lucky it'll read a DVD movie or a Pioneer DVD-RW disc.
I thought it was the brand of media at first but after buying 2 different sample packs and not one of them could be read, I knew it had to be something else. Sure enough after a clean install with XP pro corpall of those blanks worked(Maybe a serial # thing?). So I'm stuck on build 2600. Has anyone else had this problem with any drive or better yet know the file that causes this? It sucks. I believe I'm using firmware 1.33..maybe theres a newer/hacked firmware that might help? thanks in advance.
