due to advice from many people on this board and many others, i now use a dvd-rom drive other than my ND 1300A for ripping, but it seems to be slower.... Funny thing is that it's 16x read while the ND1300A is 12x Read. My DVD-ROM drive is an Artec / Ultima DHM-G48 drive, it had rip speeds above 3x on its old firmware (2.4), as soon as i flashed to the new one on the site (2.97) it is hovering near 1x. DMA enabled (Mode 2) reinstalled IDE channel, I have my 1300A as Master on secondary channel while the G48 is on slave, should i switch the two? HELP APPRECHIATED, A DICTIONARY ALSO APPRECIAHTEHDHEHD!
