CD Shortcuts not working.

Hi all

I`ve made shortcuts to my CD drives on my desktop but every time I try to use them they fails to work by reporting "shortcut not found" and tries to point me to something totally irrelevant.

The icons work fine in "my computer" so I know the drives are working OK.

Any suggestions plz.

PS: I`m using XP Home+SP1+all latest updates

You should try deleting the shortcuts and redo the links. It sounds like your computer has messed up the links to the drives. That should do the trick for you.

Thx for the suggestion but I`ve tried deleting and re-making the shortcuts and get the same problem everytime (.
