Question on Tmpgenc Dvd Author

If i add two files on one project with Tmpgenc Dvd Author will the files run one after another without stoping?.This would be handy for d/loaded movies in two parts.
Also if the two files a larger than a DVD will Dvd Author downsize the files to fit on one disk?.
If not is there a program i can use to make the two files smaller without losing quality so that they do fit on one dvd.It must bit fairly easy to use as im not very good on birates and stuff like that.

Just add both clips to the same track. One will follow the other with a brief pause. Author the DVD and ignore the warning about it being too large. Use DVD shrink to fit the results to one disk.
