For starters use DVDShrink 3.0 beta 5.

I think you need to rip in file mode. You should get IFO, BUP and VOB files.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. vesuvius, you're turning somethings that very very simple into something thats difficult. Relax and realize just how easy all this stuff really is.

It sounds like you have DVD Decrypter's settings messed up. Just set it to 'file mode', make sure you have 'all files' selected, and a folder desinated to put it in and rip. It's actually easy.

DVD Shrink, either version you use, is also pretty simple. Just use the 'open files' button and browse to your dvd folder and select the 'VIDEO_TS.IFO' file. The rest is pretty automatic in version 3.0. With V2.3 you'll haft to setup your own compression levels.

When that program is finished you'll have (or should have that is) a completed DVD folder that will again "Play" with your player. You should again check it out.

The burning process is again very simple. The folder DVD Shrink created must be labeled "VIDEO_TS" and have your files in it. Just burn that folder onto a blank DVD, close the disk, and you're done.

That's only 3 simple steps. Rip, Shrink, Burn. The guidelines are few and simple at best. It only takes a little practice and maybe a little reading.

    Hope this helps ya.
    Good luck.
