I have a nagging issue:

I had a Sony DRU500A writer that was the victim of my klutziness (tray open....drop dictionary....say shit repeatedly)

anyway, in my laziness, I used softwre issued with the dvd writer which included Veritas DLA. I made about a dozen data dvd's this way.

fast forward past the point of the dictionary disaster and I have installed and am using the Plextor PX708A. It is a great burner by the way.

problem is that DLA seems to be incompatible with the Plextor. If I have DLA installed, I have lotsa trouble ejecting RW disks from the unit and copy/paste or drag/drop or even read seems to freeze. And with DLA uninstalled, I can't access the data.

that's the riddle....anyone have solution?
