    Did you get any error messages? Nero is the program of choice for me.

    Nero does the same thing for me when I try to write CD-RW using my LG 4040B drive. If I use a regular Cd-R it works no problem.

    If I need to burn a CD-RW using my DVD-R I use B's Recorder and it works perfectly.

    They can when you put CDs in it. Otherwise, I'd say no.
