  1. I am having trouble encoding 512x384 avi files to svcd, when i finish the encode and play it on my tv the video is sretched or cutoff on the bottom and sides, it anyone know how to fix this msg me back!!!

  2. im sorry the source is 512x384 and trying to encode to svcd which is 480x480...

    Are you using a guide? What are your video settings in TMPGEnc?

    Video arrange should be set to Full Screen (keep aspect ratio).

  4. it is set to full screen and keep as aspect ratio, but it stills does the same thing, i have checked for bad frames and everything is o.k. its just with the screen scretch and frame cutoff

    Your source is 1:1 not 4:3, make sure your source settings are correct. And it has to be letterboxed, not full screen. You want "Keep Aspect Ratio" method #2, that's the letterbox option.

    Then follow my guide because the way TMPGEnc resizes is not nearly as good as VDub's filter.

  7. nope both of those didnt work, how to i get it to fit my tv screen...

    is it my source: 4:3 or 1:1, or my aspect ratio 4:3 or 1:1 im getting confused and when someone says try that, it still does the same thing..

  8. Actually, since your file is perfect 4:3 ratio, all you have to do is set input to fullscreen 1:1 and out to 4:3.
