Hi,
I'm trying to capture from a sony camcorder Hi-8 with a Wintv pci using virtualdub.
Usually, I can capture without dropping frames using Huffy codec at 352 x 480.
On one section of the video I'm dropping a lot of frames. On this section of the video I remember using the "back light" feature on the Sony camcorder. Could the "back light" feature of the camcorder be causing the dropped frames?
If I switch the capture resolution to 352 x 240 the frames stop dropping.
