what is the best program to use to get the best movie quaility? I use DVD2ONe now it does great with movie under 4.5 gb. but when i do 5 to 6 gb movies it does great in the bright scene but in dark black scene it looks distorted. I read if I'm not mistaken the TMPGEnc is the best to shrink to fit on a dvdr, but i can't find any place the explain how to use it for dvdr. any help or direction would be apprecaited.
thanks

Are you making copies (backups) of films or is this for personal footage ie digital camera.
If films then I have found DVD Shrink to be excellent. If you copy just the film and sound (which is really all you want) you can get away normally with only about 20-25% compression which is not even noticable on your normal telly.
Search for the tool on this site, there are also a few guides.----Figured it out yet?

Well then, give DVD shrink a go, you should be cool.
Remember for best quality miss out the menu and extras etc. and just do the movie!----Figured it out yet?
