Ok...here's the deal...I'm using Flask and the Panasonic plug-in to output the .vob files to mpeg.

Here's my question....in the options your suppose to select VCD as the mpeg out put you want, but it wont let you go over 1374 total bitrate between the audio and video. Now if I use the MPEG1 output option it lets me raise the bitrates a lot higher.

Doing it both ways lets me burn to VCD using NERO...but is there a difference in telling the Panasonic plug in to use MPEG1 output rather than VCD output?

  2. The VCD Standard means you have to have a total bitrate of 1374 (And I think the video has to be 1150, but don't wuote me) Which is why the plugin sets that, if you deviate from the standard your creating an XVCD, which isn't as well supported.
