  1. I have a dvd ripped, and I open the .VOB's into DVD2AVI and it looks fine and everything, and I save the project, and the project saves, but it dosen't make a .wav or any other sound file and I was just wondering what kind of things should I look out for that I might be doing wrong?

    thanks

(sorry about not being very detailed, I'm still pretty new to all of this)

After you have opened the VOBs go to the audio menu and make sure that MPEG Audio and Dolby are both set to either demux all tracks or decode all tracks. Press F4 and you shoud get a d2v file and sound files.
    If in doubt, Google it.
