Hope someome can help me with this...

I recently purchased a Hollywood card, but my problem is that the Real Magic DVD station software that came with it, does not play any dvd titles or any mpeg's that I have.

Everything loads up but the player seems to be stuck on Pause. When clicking on Play button, no images are shown, the screen stays blank and the display counter stays at 0:00:00.
I was wondering if i was missing a featre or is my card defective?
